ok...

So here I am. London isn't that great.

The water tastes funny, the food is freaking expensive and not that nice.

Their McD's isn't as delicious as Malaysia's.

The people here seem too smart and focused on studies.

And I have yet to meet people I can totally click with. Especially since I'm staying at a temporary residence.

I miiiissss home....

Two weeks from now....

........and I'll be gone.

For 11 weeks. haha.

Singapore's not so fun. I'm kinda bored, maybe shopping tomorrow will cheer things up a little. I've got no money with me though...so I can't buy stupid things just for fun.

Sigh....3 days gone down the drain. What's there to do here?

Penniless, transportless, cellphoneless ($$ issue), thank God there's internet.

Maybe I'll go play Sims on the notebook. Ha. Everyone's gone to sleep. My bro fell asleep on the couch and is snoring.

Early sleepers.

One more post b4 I sleep entitled -- S.O.

S.O. = significant other

S.O. - always refers to one's spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancee/etc

S.O. should = sweet orangepie or something else

Why? Because shouldn't there be more than one significant other? It should instead be S.O.S which stands for "significant otherS" who will also respond to any SOS we send out.

therefore,

S.O.S. should - always refer to truly caring friends who make a difference in our lives and also include the spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/etc.

We should instead say something like "the boyfriend is currently shooting hoops at 1 something in the morning".

As opposed to "My S.O. is playing bball and hopefully managing to get some shots through the hoop or, even worse, trying to snatch the ball from the other possibly bigger, fitter, guy friends of his."

Right?

anyway, the boyfriend IS playing bball at this crazy hour. Good also la, since PD was half a food fest.

oh nooo...21 days left!

3 more sundays in church

1 more saturday yf

3 more home cells on friday

21 more days with my beloved room and familiar peeps!

21 more days to get a webcam and mic that will keep me connected to this world!

21 more days to get the laptop that will allow me to use the said webbie and mic!

and a few more days to get my digicam so I can click away like a mad woman before I have to leave.

Haih...I don't like my accomodation la!

Anyway, on a brighter, and sort of nostalgic, note, PD was so fun. Sure, Betsy brought her boom-o (or something like that cards) and I got hooked to it. Heheeee.
So that's where most of the afternoons went to.

And I wasted the entire first afternoon watching tv, and now, I don't even remember what I watched. But of course, evening was dedicated to the beach!

You know how sand and water mixes to become muddy? Or how the sand can just seep into your pockets without you knowing it? And how they stick there stubbornly?
Irritating-ness. So no getting wet on the first day.

So, since I didn't sleep the night before, I spent the whole second morning asleep. More bombing after lunch, and then betz, j-anne and I tried to make a sandcastle with, of course, sand. Which, in the end, got demolished by the builders itself after the moat failed to store seawater, and was replaced by Barney's pyramid...thing.

While Barney was building the thing, I got the whole mud-and-sand-in-my-pocket package because the sea looked nice and blue. And even though I'm so totally afraid of drowning (very likely...you know), and completely dreading the cleaning up process later, I went and got beaten by the naughty waves. Everytime I take a few tiny steps in front, a wave will come and sweep me backwards. So hard to catch up with the brave few who went out into the deeeep blue sea.

It was sooo windy at night!! And nice, and calm, and peaceful. Especially when you sit on the swing alone in relative darkness and look at the yellow lights illuminating the people's faces in the house.

Sleep sort of forced itself onto me that night. Funny thing was, I know I went to bed with betsy sleeping on my left. But...when I woke up in the morning, it was bobo on my left instead! And betsy's leg was invading my space under the blanket from the right! I plopped back down to sleep. And when the phone alarm went off at 9.10 a.m. I sleepily checked again. I'm quite sure I didn't see wrongly. Because it still looked like bobo on the left and betsy on the right. hmm..dunno? too sleepy to explore, and I dozed off until 11 something.

so...what happened leh?

On the last day (how very saddening), I saw a big turtle!! It was as long as my arm, oh, and it was dead. So it happened that I attended my first turtle funeral. Which wasn't much, just watched some guy throw the poor turtle into the hole and shove sand over it.

Poor turtle.
